Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. After serving as a missionary, she earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Nelson University (formerly known as Southwestern Assemblies of God University) and is now specializing in Transformational Schema Therapy to treat trauma and emotional wounds. Melissa also facilitates couples’ growth through Prepare/Enrich certification and offers Christian counseling for those who seek it.

In her practice, Melissa works with individuals, couples, families, and teens, addressing issues like anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. Her personal experience with loss, including being widowed and finding love again, enhances her empathetic approach, providing a safe space for clients to heal and grow. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, staying active outdoors, and volunteering through her church, all of which enrich her holistic approach to therapy.
