Jolie is a former educator and school counselor who is expanding into the Licensed Professional Counselor role. Her heart is for children, teens and their families. She deeply desires to create a safe space for children and adults to be able to be open and honest about their journeys and the places that they desire healing. Because of her experience in schools, she is intimately acquainted with child development as well as the importance of being connected to family. She is caring, light-hearted and deeply invested in her clients. She loves connecting with children and helping them connect with their parents.

One of her deepest passions is also walking with those experiencing infertility. She knows the pains of that journey from 20 years of personal experience as she has personally having experienced IVF and surrogacy. “I could never find a therapist who knew that pain on a personal space and I want now to fill that gap for someone else.” She would love to accompany you on your own path today as well.

Jolie also has experience working with couples for communication through both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy as well as Gottman’s Methods and connection as well as individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD and suicidal ideation.

Infertility Support

Jolie went through 20 years of struggling with infertility herself having experienced both IVF and surrogacy. When she looked for support through that heartache and grief of not being able to conceive, she sought therapy and had really hoped she would find someone who had experienced it first-hand. She struggled to find someone. She has decided she wants to fill in that gap for other women and offer support and someone to walk alongside of you, knowing how hard this is for all involved. So whether in an individual or couples' setting, Jolie wants to accompany you so that you can feel the support and compassion from someone who knows this journey well.

Children, Teens, & Their Families

Jolie's background in education and as a school counselor has really caused her love for connecting with children and their families to blossom over the last several years. She is passionate about trying to get children the help they need earlier on in life so that they can establish a healthy sense of self as well as being able to connect in a meaningful way with those who are closest to them. The family unit is an invaluable one and Jolie's heart is to connect the individual child with those around them and in that way be able to also help them develop a healthy sense of self.
